You can use Google to search for people on the Internet, but be prepared to spend quite some time in front of your computer. It all depends on how much you know about the person you are looking to locate; you would need the person’s name obviously, but a phone number would be a bonus. You can search under images, but if you haven’t seen the person for a good couple of years you might not recognize them. To find someone these days is a lot easier than it was twenty years ago, but that still doesn’t mean you will find who you are looking for in a couple of minutes.
It would help if you knew where in which country they reside, as that would make it slightly easier for you to use Google to search for people on the Internet. When you use the person’s name, the Internet will probably come up with thousands of results, so to narrow it down, having the full name as well as date of birth would be better. Then once you have those results, use a phone number if you have one, to pinpoint the person you need to locate. If you think you will recognize them even if you haven’t seen them in years, try an images search and see what you can come up with there, you never know it might be easier than you thought.
It doesn’t matter how badly you wish to find someone, and it isn’t to say that you will definitely find them using Google, but it is worth a shot. Nearly every household has the Internet installed, so you are bound to find a trace of the person you are looking for.
